I've photographed dozens of sessions at Playa Montaña Pelada, and it remains one of my favourite locations in Tenerife for couples and families.

 

Location 📍

 

This local hidden gem is surrounded by untouched nature, volcanic sand, rugged cliffs, sandy dunes, local wildlife, and the Atlantic Ocean.

It also offers a quieter atmosphere away from the busy tourist beaches.

 

How to get there

The location is easy to access, with parking nearby and a natural walking path leading down to the beach in around five minutes.

Weather conditions

Playa Montaña Pelada is located near El Médano, in one of the windiest parts of Tenerife.

We always keep a close eye on the weather and wind conditions before your session.

On the day of your photoshoot, we confirm whether the conditions are suitable or

whether another location would be a better choice.

Discover the Hidden Beach

At low tide, you can also explore the second beach just beyond the rocky formation next to the main beach.


Depending on the tide and sea conditions, you can reach it by walking through the shallow water or climbing over the rocks.

It is a fun little adventure for those who enjoy exploring.

But a little extra care is needed when crossing the rocks.
